The clinical features of syphilitic lesions in the oral mucosa are variable, and there no specific guidelines scientific English literature for dental practitioners regarding signs symptoms that mandate serological tests syphilis. We performed an updated review reports on protocols managing acquired syphilis (AOS) offer recommendations with emphasis features. also add two new cases from our own files. Our analyses global revealed males significantly more often affected than females, their mean age is higher. Young adults most affected, a peak third fourth decades life. Ulcers mucous patches as manifestations AOS prevalent mucosa.
